Historical Archival Research – St. Boniface, Métis Atlas Project & Genealogical research / displays by U of S and presentations and displays of the Métis Archival U of A, U of S, U of Ottawa, St. Boniface Historical Society, Métis National Council and the North West Saskatchewan Métis Council will begin setting up at the Jonas Favel Centre.
3:00 P.M. First 10 Miles of three day 30 mile Marathon begins. Prizes are as follows (participants will run ten miles per day July 6 – 8, 2006, prizes include: 1st place adult male & female, 19 years and older- $ 400.00 each; 1st place Youth male and female 15 years to 18 years – $300.00 each; 1st place male & female youth 14 years and younger - $ 300.00 each). 4:00 P.M. – Children’s Events at the Sakitawak Entertainment Centre (S.E.C.) (Floor Hockey, Orange Game, Balloon Game, Hacky Sack, 3-Legged Race, Musical Chairs, erc. etc.) Prizes will be awarded.
6:00 P.M. Free Hot Dogs and Hot Chocolate at the Sakitawak Entertainment Centre
8:00 P.M. Talent Search with Local Youth Band as back up on Instrumentals

8 – 10:00 A.M. Free Pancake Breakfast at the Sakitawak Entertainment Centre
Archival and Research displays presented throughout the day and all throughout the weekend by the U of A, U of S, U of O, MNC, St. Boniface Historical Society and NWSMC at Jonas Favel Centre.
Activities Throughout the day will include: Horse Shoe Tournament, Tug-a-war, Outdoor Basketball and Outdoor Volleyball Prizes will be awarded for all events.
Texas Hold’em Tournament at the Sakitawak Entertainment Centre
1:00 P.M. Kids Games and Youth Hockey Tournament at the Arena
2:00 P.M. Second 10 Mile leg of the Marathon
8:00 P.M. Family Dance at the Arena Featuring the Rez Boyz

8 – 10:00 A.M. Free Pancake Breakfast at the Entertainment Centre
Archival and Research displays presented throughout the day by the U of A, U of S, U of O, MNC, St. Boniface Historical Society and NWSMC under the Big top.
10:00 a.m. Youth Basketball Tournament at the outdoor Court beside the Youth Activity Centre – Open to all Communities
Fastball Tournament – Open to first six Teams that register
Cribbage and Chase the ten Tournaments at the SEC Cash prizes and Trophies
11:00 A.M. Traditional Parade from “the farm” to the Hospital Area – Participants are encouraged to design their floats to showcase events of 100 years ago (Scrip Signing, Government Agents, Missionaries, Traditional Dress, etc. etc.) There will be three Prizes are as follows: 1st – $500.00; 2nd – $400.00; 3rd - $300.00.
Elders Come and go Tea & Bannock at the Friendship Centre
12:00 a.m. Centenary Boat & Canoe Brigade will converge from all points at Sandy Point on the evening of July 7th, 2006 and will arrive at the Mission Beach in Ile a la Crosse at 12:00 A.M. (actual event of 100 years ago).

1:00 P.M. Opening Ceremonies of the Centenary Commemoration under the Big Top (Big Top will be set up beside the Hospital). Masters of the Ceremonies are Willie Billette and Jimmy Durocher. We have an impressive delegation of dignitaries.
Co-ed Slo-Pitch, Open to first six teams that enter
2:00 P.M. Final 10 miles of the 30 mile marathon
3:00 P.M. Picture opportunities with Centenary Cake,
announcement and launch of Métis Scrip Centenary Commemoration Book commissioned by the Gabriel Dumont Institute,
Métis Community Leadership Recognition Awards under the Big top.
5:00 P.M. Traditional Supper and Drama Presentation Featuring Alphonse and Ernestine Whitefish (Duane Favel & Maureen Belanger) announcement of winners of Centenary 30 mile marathon. (Under Big Top) 7:00 P.M. Old Time Dance under the big top with Square dance demonstrations
Open Fiddle Contest under the big top with prizes as follows: 1st – $300.00, 2nd – $200.00, 3rd, $100.00,
Open Jigging Contest under the big top with prizes as follows: 1st – $300.00, 2nd, $200.00, 3rd - $100.00.
Cabaret at the Arena– featuring Rez Boyz and TBA (Pine House Band)
12:00 P.M. Fireworks display
